Meet the husband-and-wife duo behind the lens
Hey there - we're Thomas & Rachel!
We live in the stunning Pacific Northwest, where we’re constantly surrounded by sunsets, towering mountains, and beautiful nature that make us stop and stare (a lot!). Our love for photography is something we both share, and it’s been the perfect way to capture the beauty of the world around us, along with a few hilarious moments along the way.
Thomas is always on the hunt for that magical shot, whether it’s a dew-covered leaf or a fleeting moment between two people. Rachel is usually right there with him, camera in hand, trying to catch him in action—and maybe sneak a few goofy shots when he’s not looking. We’ve spent years learning from each other, laughing at the ridiculousness of some of our adventures, and turning our passion for photography into something that brings us even closer together.
When we’re not behind the camera, you can find us playing with our two dogs, Ellie (a goofy golden retriever) and Ivy (the cutest little peke-a-pom you ever did see), and brainstorming our next big shoot.
We believe that photography isn’t just about capturing moments. It’s about making our people happy and creating memories. So let’s create some together!
FAQ
Do you require a deposit?
Yes - a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your session date.
Need to reschedule? No problem—we’re happy to apply your deposit toward a future session. The remaining balance is due by the date of your shoot.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We’re proudly based in beautiful Bonney Lake, Washington, right in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. We’re happy to travel up to 30 miles from Bonney Lake (60 miles round trip) at no extra charge.
If your location is farther than that, no worries. We simply charge $0.75 per mile for every mile over the included 60-mile round trip.
For example, if your photoshoot is 40 miles away (80 miles round trip), we’ll charge for the 20 extra miles at $0.75 per mile.
When will we get our photos?
We aim to get your photos to you via online gallery within 7 - 10 business days. We know you’re excited to see them (and we’re just as excited to share them!), but if for any reason we need a little extra time, we’ll give you a heads-up right away.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
We totally understand that plans can change and life sometimes gets in the way. In the event of cancellation, the initial 50% deposit is nonrefundable. Please let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule and we will work with you!
What if the weather gets in the way?
Ah, the PNW... as beautiful as it is unpredictable. If the weather takes a turn, like heavy rain, strong winds, or anything that might affect the vibe or safety of your session, we'll work with you to reschedule at no extra charge. Overcast skies and a little drizzle can actually be super dreamy in photos, but we'll always check in ahead of time so we can make the call together. Your comfort and the quality of your photos are out top priorities.
